About Us

 The Wicked Wardrobe is a dark fashion and cult brand consignment shop  owned by a married couple of weirdos who live in Downtown Salem, MA. Alexis and Justin are practicing witches in Salem, and can be seen working other careers around the shop schedule- one being a walking tour guide (Justin- Witch City Walking Tours) and the other being a well established tattoo artist at Salem Ink (Alexis- Witch Tats of Salem)

They love Halloween nearly as much as they love history, and what a better place to experience both 365 days a year other than Salem, MA in the historic Pickering Wharf neighborhood. Alexis and Justin got married on Halloween, live downtown with their three cats, and enjoy walking through the city, taking the trolley tour (it's free for Salem residents most of the year!) watching movies, and karaoke at their favorite spots when they're not working. The Wicked Wardrobe was conceived through the personal experiences of Alexis when she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder a few years ago, that changed their lives dramatically. Like most folks who suddenly take ill, medical debt was piling up, and Alexis also had come to the realization that many of her treasured clothing and accessories like bags and boots, were no longer feasible to wear with her new medical condition. Because of this, and in hopes of gaining some income, she took her items that we had taken great care of and invested quite some money into, to different exchange and consignment shops around to only be told 

"there isn't  a market for this/this shop doesn't sell styles like this." 

Thankfully, Alexis is in much better health nowadays, and this story ends on a good note-  after much time, hard work and good luck-  her  and her partner Justin created The Wicked Wardrobe; their own shop for spooky, weird, cult brands for collectors such as them!, and are so grateful for putting trust and love into the community around the Wicked Wardrobe that supports a market such as this one. Now, no matter the reason- spring cleaning, a weight journey, a wardrobe makeover, or the needs of some extra funds- maybe all of the above- the Wicked Wardrobe exists to give your items another life.

The Wicked Wardrobe  Dark Consignment and Mystical Goods opened officially in January of 2025- offering unique, hand-picked treasures for and from the community of Salem. The Wicked Wardrobe offers consignment for all sizes and gender styles, and thrives to make styles more inclusive for everyone. 

 Their mission is to provide another resource of income for the community through consignment, as well as creating a unique shopping experience that makes gothic, alternative and unique fashion is more affordable and accessible. 

They aim to encourage the up-cycling of items rather than throwing them away, or even offer the comfort in knowing things that your loved things are going to a place where they will be loved and treasured once again.
